If you appreciate both sweet and sour tastes, don’t worry—you can either replace the plums with your favorite ones or include both plums and Qeisi; the choice is yours! Staying true to the original recipe, let’s take a look at how Shirin Qatoq is prepared:
Ingredients: Chicken pieces Qeisi (plums) Raisins Infused saffron Onion Garlic Salt and turmeric

Cooking instructions:

Massage the chicken pieces with salt and turmeric, then fry them until fully browned. Finely chop a medium-sized onion and a few cloves of garlic, add them to the pan, and sauté for a few minutes.

Remember, there’s no need to add water! Close the lid of the pan and let it simmer over low heat for about an hour.
