Description
Basil seeds, just like khakshir, are a summery, cooling product and can fit into any drink! If you put basil seeds in water and let them sit for a little while, you’ll see that all the seeds gather water around themselves like little balloons. That’s how one tiny seed can save a person from heatstroke and dehydration in the heat of summer. Basil seeds can be added to lemonade syrup with a little rosewater, or you can add them to saffron syrup or any other syrup. You can make a saffron or colorful syrup and pour it into the bottom of the glass, then slowly add water and soaked basil seeds down the side of the glass so they don’t mix with the syrups and appear in layers. Then serve it to your guests and wait for them to come interview you as the best host!
